According to reports, Barcelona have made a payoff offer to Samuel Umtiti.

The Frenchman has since been deemed as expendable, and spent last season on loan with Lecce.

According to Sport, Barca are keen on getting Umtiti off the books, in order to sort out their wage bill.

Umtiti had a good loan spell in Serie A. He has a contract with Barca until 2026, but the club is now offering the France international a payoff and a free transfer, in order to ease Financial Fair Play concerns.

Umtiti was seen as a top defender some time ago, but injuries got the better of his career.
