According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona have completed the signing of Senegalese defender Mikayil Faye.

Faye bears the nickname ‘The Monster’ because of his aggressive style of play. The 18-year-old plays as a centre-back for club and country.

“All documents are completed between Barca and NK Kustosija. Official statement soon, deal 100% done,” Romano revealed.

The transfer is believed to be worth €5m.

The young defender will team up with Barca Athletic after his unveiling.
