There have been talks about Lionel Messi returning to Barcelona at the end of the season.
The Barca veteran is fed up with life at PSG, and would leave the Paris club at the end of the season.
Barcelona’s financial troubles are well-known to all, and it’s exactly why Messi left in the first place.
With reports of a likely Barcelona return for Messi, La Liga president Javier Tebas, has said he hopes Barça can actually sign back their former star player.
Tebas said, according to Mundo Deportivo: “They cannot register him at the moment, but they have time.
“We are waiting for a viability plan, they can sell players and there are also others who need to be registered.
“From the point of view of the league, I hope that Barcelona takes the necessary steps so they can register him. I am a fan of Leo Messi.
“We will not change the economic norms [for them], not today. Barca can make certain movements so that Leo Messi can join them.”
