Jules Kounde joined Barcelona from Sevilla last summer, for a fee of €50m, and the 24-year-old has been an important player for Xavi this season.
Barcelona defeated Sevilla 3-0 at the Nou Camp on Sunday, and the Frenchman didn’t hesitate to celebrate wildly against his former club.
Some Sevilla fans have criticised Jules Kounde for his celebration of Jordi Alba’s goal during the game, and Kounde has apologised.

He wrote on twitter: “I was always grateful for the opportunity to wear the red and white jersey and for the love received during my time there.
“I want to apologize for the goal celebration that, within a moment of euphoria, was exaggerated on my part. I wish you [Sevilla] the best, always.”
