Saudi club Al Nassr has signed Cristiano Ronaldo as a free agent, in a mouthwatering deal that will make him earn higher than his peers.

Al Nassr are now moving for Barcelona captain Sergi Busquets.

The big-spending Saudis are working on a deal to also add Busquets to their squad list.

They believe adding an experienced midfielder like Busquets would help their squad balance.

According to Mundo Deportivo, key to the Busquets deal is Al Nassr sports chief Goran Vucevic. Vucevic is a former Barca player and was a scout with the club until last season. He joined Al Nassr in October.

Busquets’ contract will wind up in June, and he is also a target for MLS side Inter Miami.

Busquets is yet to confirm if he’d sign a contract extension with Barcelona.
