According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie is being targeted by Premier League side Tottenham.
Spurs wanted to sign the Ivorian last summer as a free agent, but he preferred a move to Barcelona following the expiration of his contract with AC Milan.
Kessie has struggled for game time this season, and has played just 485 minutes across 13 games for Barca (with 5 starts) and has scored one goal for the Blaugrana.
Besides Tottenham, Inter Milan, Aston Villa and Fulham are also interested in Kessie.
However, Kessie’s agent has ruled out a winter exit, and is rather determined to prove himself to Xavi and is working hard on his recovery, Mundo Deportivo’s Jordi Batalla has revealed.
“Kessie is very happy at Barca and in Barcelona,” George Atangana told Mundo Deportivo back in October.
“He’s been at the club for a few months and is still in the process of adapting to the team and Barca’s style of play, which is very different from the style of other clubs, so it takes time.
“Kessie continues his hard work in order to earn his place on the team. He does not give up easily. He had other offers this summer but he insisted on Barca.”
