Manchester City star Erling Haaland is proving to be the hottest striker in Europe at the moment.

The 22-year-old only joined City during the summer, and he’s breaking every available record.

Meanwhile, reports have it that Haaland has his eyes on Spain as his next move, having already played in the German Bundesliga.

According to reports, Haaland has a release clause worth around €200 million, which can be activated in the summer of 2024.

Barça have the option to trigger the €200 million release clause in two years time, when Robert Lewandowski would be 36.

Meanwhile, Erling Haaland’s father Alf-Inge Haaland had recently revealed the likely destinations they considered during the summer transfer window.

“On our list, I think City is the best team,” Alfie told The Big Decision Haaland documentary.

“[Bayern] Munich is number two. We have Real Madrid as number three, Paris Saint-Germain as number four.

“We also have some English teams other than City who are quite good . . . Liverpool and Chelsea. Also, there is Barcelona. They are sort of in the same row.”
