Super Computer release title prediction as Barcelona top league for the first time in two years

It’s a significant step up for the Blaugrana, as Barça moved top of the league for the first time in two years, when Quique Setien was still in charge.

Although Real Madrid and Barca are tied with19 points, Barca have a better goal difference. Barcelona have +18, while Madrid have +11.

The algorithm from FiveThirtyEight have updated their predictions for the 2022/23 La Liga season.

The Super Computer have tipped Barcelona and Real Madrid to finish level on points with 84 each. However, Barcelona are expected to finish the season as champions and with a superior goal difference (+54 vs +48).

Barcelona would be away to Real Madrid for the first El Clasico of the season on October 16.
