Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez has hailed the massive improvement shown by youngster Ansu Fati.

Xavi has been careful not to push Fati, as the young forward has had an injury that hampered his development.

Ansu Fati wasn’t called up to the national team, with Luis Enrique saying the young forward has to play more games.

The 19-year-old got his second start of the season against Mallorca, and he had a good game, as he assisted Robert Lewandowski’s goal and was a constant threat on the wing.

Xavi has now reserved massive praise for the young forward.

“Ansu Fati has been very good, I have seen him at 100%, these two weeks have done him very well, he has been extraordinary in training,” Xavi said after the Mallorca match.

“Fati has everything to become crucial for us. I’m convinced that he will be.”
