Barcelona got all three points away from home against RCD Mallorca, but it was far from an easy game for Xavi Hernandez men.

Robert Lewandowski scored a stunning 20th minute goal to put Barça in front – and his goal ended up being the only goal of the game.

Speaking after the game, Xavi admitted it was a difficult tie, and that Mallorca’s 5-4-1 formation posed a problem for his side.

“We were very patient [v Mallorca]. They were closing all the gaps at their back. It’s always difficult to attack against a 5-4-1, there are few spaces,” Xavi said after the game.

“It cost us a lot. We were good in the first half but in the second, we were forced to play the way Mallorca wanted us to play.”
