A lot has been made of Sergio Busquets future at Barcelona.

The 34-year-old has been linked with a summer move away from the club, as his contract at Barcelona expires in June 2023.

Some reports claim that the veteran midfielder has already made up his mind to leave the club next summer.

However, Xavi has revealed that Busquets is yet to make a final decision on where his future lies.

Xavi said: “Busquets has said publicly that he hasn’t decided anything yet. He will make a decision at the end of the season.

“For me, he continues to be crucial in my plans.”

Xavi and Barcelona do want to keep the captain for another year, and the 34-year-old is the only player from the old guard to still remain a crucial player for Xavi.
