There’s still time – Xavi on El Clasico

Barcelona’s game of the season is on October 16 – the much anticipated El Clásico tie.

Everyone is looking forward to this game, and it could play a major part in the title decider.

Xavi was asked about this game when speaking to the media regarding the team’s injury concerns, but he insisted that there’s still time.

On El Clasico, Xavi said: “We have time to recover many players before El Clasico, but Araujo will not be ready for El Clasico.”

Xavi was also asked about stopping Vinicius Jr when Barcelona face Real Madrid. He reiterated: “We still have time, and we have to see who comes back first of our players.”

Xavi however maintained that all games are important as we enter a busy phase of the season.

He said: “We have 12 games until the World Cup. All games are going to be very important.”
