Barcelona got the much needed three points against RCD Mallorca, as the Blaugrana won the game 1-0.
It was a tight game, but Robert Lewandowski settled the three points in the 20th minute of the game with a stunning strike.
Mallorca indeed threatened Barca a number of times, but Barca goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen had a solid performance in goal.
Barcelona skipper Sergio Busquets has admitted that the international games impacted the team’s performance.
“We would have liked to win [v Mallorca] by more goals. But it’s always difficult to come back just after an international break,” Sergio Busquets said.
“Mallorca closed the spaces very well. We knew their plan and thus, we were forced to play from wider areas.”
“We have a fantastic goalkeeper [Ter Stegen],” Busquets also noted.
