Barcelona are believed to be on the lookout for a replacement for midfield star Sergio Busquets.
According to Sport, Barca’s main priority next summer is finding an able replacement for Busquets.
Xavi has had to depend on Frenkie de Jong, to fill in for Busquets when he’s absent – as there’s currently a lack of option in that position.
Reports have it that Wolves captain Ruben Neves is top of the list of potential candidates for Barcelona.
The Wolves captain is also interested in a move to Barcelona, and Premier League sides Liverpool and Manchester United are among the clubs eyeing the Portuguese.
Wolves put a valuation of £70 on the 25-year-old midfielder during the summer, but no club was willing to meet that.
With Neves contract set to expire in 2024, the Portuguese will be available for a much cheaper price in the summer of 2023.
Reports have it that Ruben Neves would prefer a move to Spain over a move to any of the top Premier League sides interested in him.
