Liverpool and Uruguay forward Darwin Nunez has sent a message to Ronald Araujo following his injury.
The Barcelona centre-back is expected to miss the World Cup after suffering a right adductor injury.
Nunez has sent a message of support as he displayed Ronald Araujo’s jersey in front of the cameras minutes before their friendly game against Canada.
Ronald Araujo simply responded: “Love you bro”
Meanwhile, Barcelona have given an official update on Ronald Araujo, who has had a successful surgery following a right adductor injury he suffered.
A club statement reads: “UPDATE | Ronald Araujo had successful surgery this morning for his right adductor longus tendon avulsion.
“The surgery was performed by Dr. Lasse Lempainen under the supervision of Club medical staff in Turku, Finland. He is out and his recovery will determine his availability.”
