Injury update: 5 Barcelona players have suffered injury on international duty

The international break has not favoured Barcelona, as five Barcelona players are out injured.

Jules Kounde suffered an injury in the first half of France UEFA Nations League clash against Austria, and was substituted in the 22nd minute of the game.

Memphis Depay and Frenkie De Jong both picked up knocks in the game between the Netherlands and Poland.

De Jong was subbed off at half time, while Memphis Depay was subbed off in the 52nd minute after going down.

Ronald Araujo has also suffered an injury on international duty. Araujo got injured after playing just 20 seconds in the game between Uruguay and Iran.

Araujo was subbed off immediately and it’s yet to be seen how long he’d be out on the sidelines, with reports claiming the problem is a muscle injury.

Ousmane Dembele came off the bench for France in the 78th minute against Austria, and the 25-year-old winger finished the match with muscle discomfort, according to reports.

However, it is believed that Dembele could be back in time for France next game against Denmark on Sunday.
