The international games are here, with the Nations League campaign resuming this week.
Barcelona stars will face each other on Thursday as Poland play hosts to the Netherlands.
Ahead of this game, Netherlands’ head coach Louis van Gaal has showered praise on Barcelona striker and Poland captain Robert Lewandowski.
Van Gaal hailed Lewandowski for his consistent performances in Europe over the years, as he admitted that the Barcelona striker is the best striker in the world.
“I think Lewandowski is the best striker in the world,” said van Gaal in his pre-match press conference.
Barcelona and Netherlands midfielder Frenkie de Jong also hailed Lewandowski.
De Jong said: “Robert Lewandowski is a really nice person. He is one of the best players in the world and he is an all-round striker.
“He is strong, he can hold the ball, his technical ability is really good, he makes a lot of runs and he scores a lot of goals.”
