Barcelona have had a fine start to the season, and the Blaugrana played out a 3-0 victory over Elche in the last game before the international break.
Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez has admitted he’s pleased with his side’s start to the season.
One player that has earned the praise of the Barcelona manager is 19-year-old Pedri.
Xavi even believes Pedri can be compared to one of the greatest in the game.
“Pedri has to become decisive for our future. At 19 years old, he is comparable to the best footballers that have ever played here. We need to take care of him,” Xavi said after the Elche game.
“Pedri is a sensational player. He understands the game, and he can make the difference with his assists.”
Pedri had 106 touches, 92/96 completed passes, 96% passing accuracy, 15/16 long balls, 2 big chances created and 5 key passes.
