Former Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has revealed Lionel Messi could return to Barcelona if the club is open to it.

It has been widely reported that Messi, who is now at PSG, could make a return to Barcelona and Fabregas has said that the move could be ‘an option’.

“I don’t know if it’s possible. It could be an option if Barca are open to it. It would be a beautiful and happy ending,” he told RAC1.

Meanwhile, Barcelona boss Xavi has revealed what Barcelona need to win the La Liga this season.

Xavi said: “We have a very big squad now. Everyone is training well, responding well. Remember that this season is strange, and we need everyone to be in their top game. We need to become a family.

“You win titles with a big squad, not with a set starting XI. We have 25 players, and all of them could start for every match. Then it’s my turn to take the decisions.”
