Barcelona forward Memphis Depay has admitted he hasn’t played enough this season under Barcelona boss Xavi and has revealed he wants to play more.
Depay said: “I had two starts in the last two weeks of the Liga. It’s not enough. I’m substituted after 60 minutes but I want more.
“In the last 25 minutes of the game there are more spaces and there are always possibilities to take advantage of that.
“This time I’m looking forward to the week with the national team even more. I’m sure you can guess why. I played less than usual and it’s not something I’m used to. But here you know you’re going to play, so I’m more motivated and grateful.”
