Lewandowski’s return of 11 goals in his first 8 games for Barcelona is a new record for the most goals scored by a Barcelona player in his first 8 games for the club.

The previous record was held by Ronaldo after he scored 9 goals in his first 8 games for the club.

Lewandowski’s record of 8 goals in his first 6 La Liga games also breaks the record set by Laslo Kubala as far back as 1950 when the legend scored 7 goals in his first 6 games for Barcelona.
