Xavi Hernandez and Gerard Pique are both legends at the club, and were teammates for club and country for well over a decade.

However, reports by Diario Sport claims that the relationship between Gerard Pique and manager Xavi is nearly completely broken down.

According to the report, Pique made a side comment in the locker room during the game against Bayern complaining that he doesn’t play anymore.

Xavi reprimanded him in front of the group, telling him he may play even less.

Pique has seen reduced game time this season, due to the signings of Andreas Christensen and Jules Kounde.

Pique is currently Barca’s fifth choice centre-back, behind Ronald Araujo, Kounde, Christensen and Eric Garcia.

Pique has only played 2 games this season – as a halftime substitute against Viktoria PIzen in the Champions League, and he started the 4-0 win at Cadiz.

The 35-year-old has missed out on the remaining Barcelona games, which has left him very frustrated.
