Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski believes he has what it takes to win the Ballon d’Or at Barcelona compared to his former club Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski who won the FIFA Player of the Year 2021 is still keen on winning the Ballon d’Or one day.
The Poland international deserved to win the Ballon d’Or in 2020, but Lionel Messi beat him to the prize.
The likes of Lewandowski, Erling Haaland and Karim Benzema will fight for the award this year. Lewandowski however believes he can win the award at Barcelona.
Robert Lewandowski told the media: “Winning the Ballon d’Or? I know that Barcelona is the team where the most players have won the Ballon d’Or.
“I think there is a shorter way to the Ballon d’Or at Barca than at Bayern.”
