PSG sporting director Luis Campos has revealed why the French club didn’t sign Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele during the summer transfer window.

Dembele was heavily linked with a move to PSG when Leonardo was director of the French club but the interest died after Campos became director.

Explaining why PSG didn’t sign Dembele even when he became a free agent during the summer, Campos said: “We didn’t sign Dembélé because he’s a winger and we’re playing with another system.

“I love Dembélé, he’s great but we had different plans.”

Dembele has started the season in good form for Barcelona, scoring twice and providing 4 assists in just 8 appearances.
