Former Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has said that Barcelona veterans and former teammates Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba are unhappy with their current role at the club.
Pique, 35, and Alba, 33, are in the latter phase of their careers and they are no longer regulars for Barcelona.
The veteran pair have found themselves on the bench in most of the games this season.
Cesc Fabregas has admitted the pair won’t like the situation.
Cesc Fabregas said: “It costs a lot to accept the substitution.
“What will cost them more when they don’t play is that the next day you have to work with the substitutes while the starters recover.”
