Lewandowski sends message after 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich

Barcelona were beaten 2-0 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League group stage game at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night.

Veteran striker Robert Lewandowski who has a lot of experience in this competition has told his teammates not to dwell on the Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich.

The Pole who has been brilliant for Barca was unable to score on his return to his former club on Tuesday night.

Lewandowski chose to be positive despite the defeat.

Lewandowski posted on social media: “It’s been a tough night. Now is the time to focus on the future.”

Barca coach Xavi said of Lewandowski after the 2-0 defeat: “I don’t think the pressure could have been able to get him, he has enough maturity and experience in this type of match. It has been a lack of effectiveness.
