Barcelona star Pedri has revealed that he must improve on his finishing after missing a glittering chance at the Allianz Arena.
Shortly after the hour mark, Pedri was gifted with a fine pass by Robert Lewandowski. Placed one on one with Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, Pedri could only strike the ball against the post.
Speaking after the game, Pedri admitted he must improve.
“I know I had two clear chances to score. I should have scored them, and I will need to improve”, Pedri told the press after the 2-0 away loss to Bayern Munich last night.
Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez blamed his side’s poor finishing as a result for the defeat.
Xavi said: “When you fail to take advantage of your chances in the Champions League, you end up paying for it.
“We have been better than Bayern. But they do take advantage of the chances, that’s the difference.
“We had 6 or 7 chances to score.”
