With the scores goalless at half-time, Frenkie de Jong put Barcelona in front 10 minutes after the restart.
Xavi Hernandez rested a bulk of his squad for this game with next week’s Champions League game in mind, and shortly after De Jong’s 55th minute goal, Xavi decided to bring on Lewandowski, Ousmane Dembele and Pedri.
The three subs changed the dynamics of the game, as Barcelona became better, after a very tight first-half.
The Poland striker extended his superb scoring run eight minutes after coming on. The 33-year-old striker has now scored his ninth goal in five games.
Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembele scored late goals to seal a 4-0 victory for Barca.
Barcelona have now won a fourth consecutive game in a row to go top of the La Liga standings – one point ahead of Real Madrid who host Real Mallorca on Sunday.
