In view of the Champions League clash with Bayern Munich next week, Barca boss Xavi Hernandez rotated his squad for the game against Cadiz.

Xavi made eight changes to the starting lineup for the La Liga clash with Cadiz.

Cadiz has proven to be a difficult side for Barcelona in recent matches, as Barcelona have failed to beat them in the last four meetings between the two sides.

Xavi was however pleased that his rotated squad put a good shift against Cadiz.

“This season, our squad is full of reliable players. No matter who plays, you can’t tell the difference. Even if we didn’t play Bayern Munich next week, I would have started the same XI,” Xavi has said.

“We hadn’t beat Cadiz in two seasons. This was an important win. I’m happy, but we didn’t play an excellent match.”
