Erling Haaland has had a fine start to his Manchester City career.
The 22-year-old striker has scored 10 goals in 6 Premier League games, and 2 goals in the Champions League.
Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has also had a fine start to his Barcelona career. The 33-year-old has scored 5 goals in 4 La Liga games and also bagged a hat-trick in the Champions League.
Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez was asked in his press conference which of the striker’s he’d prefer to have in his team.
Xavi was full of praise for Haaland, but insisted he won’t swap his striker or any other player in his team.
Xavi told the press: “Who do I prefer, a young player like Erling Haaland or an experienced one like Robert Lewandowski? It’s hard to say, each player has a different personality.
“Lewandowski is a humble person who encourages young players. We are lucky to have him. I wouldn’t change any player from my squad.”
