Barcelona defeated Czech Republic giants Viktoria Plzen 5-1 in our opening Champions League game of the season.

A hat-trick from Robert Lewandowski, with goals from Franck Kessie and Ferran Torres sealed a massive victory for Barca.

With Barcelona 2-0 ahead, Barca conceded a goal after some poor defensive display from the backline, which Viktoria Plzen scored an easy goal from.

Speaking after the game, Xavi admitted his only worry was the manner in which the goal came.

“I’m bothered by the goal we conceded. We were superior and the result shows that,” Xavi said via Movistar.

“We conceded a goal due to our own mistake. We have to improve these errors,” he added.
