Xavi praises two Barcelona players after 5-1 thrashing of Viktoria Plzen

Barcelona started the Champions League season in a dominant way, as the Blaugrana beat Viktoria Plzen 5-1 at Camp Nou.

A hat-trick from Robert Lewandowski and also goals from Franck Kessie and Ferran Torres sealed a massive victory for Barca.

Speaking after the game, Barca boss Xavi Hernandez hailed the performance of Lewandowski and also Ousmane Dembele who assisted two goals.

“Lewandowski has an insatiable hunger for success. I’m running out of praise, it’s the hat-trick, but also the work he puts in. He’s an incredible signing,” Xavi told Movistar

“Dembele? He is happy, very happy. He’s enjoying himself, and he’s very important to me. He assists and he scores. He’s a dagger on the wing,” the Barca boss also said.

Robert Lewandowski scored three great goals against Viktoria Plzen. Ousmane Dembele assisted twice. Both were the standout performers for Blaugrana.
