Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has had a fine start to his career at the Camp Nou.

The Barcelona striker has been nominated for the August Player of the Month award in La Liga.

In the three La Liga games in August, Lewandowski scored four goals and provided an assist.

The 33-year-old striker is one of the favourites to win the award, in his debut season in the La Liga.

He’d contend with other nominees such as Borja Iglesias (Real Betis), Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid), Geronimo Rulli (Villarreal), Iago Aspas (Celta Vigo), Chimy Avila (Osasuna) and Kang-in Lee (Mallorca).
