Chelsea and Barcelona have finally reached an agreement for the transfer of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Just before transfer deadline, Chelsea had initially seen a bid of €15m plus Marcos Alonso rejected for the 33-year-old striker.
Chelsea have now prepared a fresh bid which has been accepted by Barcelona.
The improved deal is believed to be worth around €20m plus Alonso.
Romano tweeted: “Chelsea new official bid for Pierre Aubameyang has been received by Barcelona right now. As mentioned in the afternoon, includes again Marcos Alonso as part of the deal.
“Negotiations progressing now on add ons structure — Auba’s broken jaw, not an issue.”
It’s also been reported that Marcos Alonso rejected a late offer from Inter Milan.
The Spaniard had agreed personal terms with Barcelona back in April, and didn’t want to move to any other club but Barcelona.
