Jules Kounde made his Barcelona debut against Real Valladolid, as Barcelona continued their fine form this season.

Kounde had 76 touches of the ball, 1 interception, 1 block, 2 key passes, 2/3 accurate long balls and won his two aerial duels.

Xavi was very impressed with the performance of his new signing.

Praising the Frenchman after the game, Xavi said: “When we talk about Kounde, we’re speaking about a player that can mark an era at Barca.

“He can do everything, play out from the back, has personality, leadership, can play in any defensive position.

“We’ve made a great signing,” Xavi added.
