Barcelona played a 3-3 draw with Manchester City in an entertaining friendly at the Camp Nou.
It was a game that went back and forth, as the two sides played brilliant football despite it being a friendly game.
Julian Alvarez opened the scoring for Manchester City in the 21st minute before the hosts hit back through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 29th minute.
Frenkie de Jong gave Barcelona the lead in the 66th minute before Cole Palmer levelled the scores four minutes later.
Memphis Depay put Barca ahead once again in the 79th minute but a late Riyad Mahrez penalty ensured Manchester City secured a 3-3 draw.
Speaking after the game, Barca boss Xavi Hernandez hailed the quality of Manchester City and admitted his side were made to suffer at times.
Xavi told the media after the game: “City made a good impression on me. They stole the ball from us many times.
“They have very well worked automatics. In many phases of the match, we suffered.
“I know Pep, I’ve worked with him, I know his level of demand and I’m not surprised,” the Barca boss added.
