Barcelona defeated Real Sociedad 4-1 away at the Reale Arena, but it wasn’t an easy clash despite the heavy scoreline.

Barcelona midfielder Frenkie midfielder Frenkie de Jong, started the game in place of suspended Sergio Busquets.

Frenkie de Jong didn’t have a good game in the first-half as he was dispossessed in midfield by David Silva for Real Sociedad’s goal.

Despite the Dutchman costing Barcelona a goal, Xavi seemed satisfied with his performance.

“I’ve seen a very good Frenkie, despite him losing the ball which led to a goal,” Xavi said in his post-match interview.

“We need to improve in a lot of things. It’s true that De Jong lost that ball, but he also did things very well.”
