Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski turned 34 on Sunday, and he celebrated his 34th birthday with a brace against Real Sociedad.
Lewandowski had a good game away at the Reale Arena, and his brace ensured Barcelona won the tie 4-1.
After the game, Lewandowski earned the praises of teammates Pedri and Ousmane Dembele.
An amazed Pedri said: “Lewandowski looks like he’s 20, not 34. It’s spectacular how he works and the goals he scores.”
“When I played against Bayern, it was very difficult, it’s much better to have Robert with us now,” Dembele said.
Xavi also lavished praise on the Poland international who celebrated his 34th birthday with a brace.
He said: “Everyone has seen that Lewandowski can make a difference. He’s an example for the team because of the sacrifices he has made. He is a player for the present and the future.”
