The Barcelona head coach has now hailed Barca midfielder Frenkie de Jong, claiming that the Dutchman reminds him of his playing days.

Xavi said in his latest press conference: “Frenkie de Jong reminds me of myself. He is spectacularly good as a central midfielder and can play as a defensive midfielder too. He will not be a center-back.”

This now looks to confirm the reports that De Jong won’t be leaving Barcelona this summer.
