Barcelona are yet to register all their new players, and the club is trying to meet the requirements of the La Liga.

Barcelona have until 31st August to register all seven players with the La Liga or could face sanctions.

The unregistered players will also not be permitted to play in this weekend’s opener against Rayo Vallecano.

The 7 players that require registration are Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, Jules Kounde, Ousmane Dembele, and Sergi Roberto.

Meanwhile, Barca chiefs have told Xavi that the club is doing everything to ensure all his players, including the new signings, will be available for the match against Rayo Vallecano this weekend.

The club has already sent the documentation, and the official announcement is expected to be made soon.

According to reports, both Barcelona and the La Liga believe that everything will be sorted out in time for Barca to complete the registration of the new players.
