Reports emerged this week on Barcelona signings Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie who may leave the club this summer, despite having just signed up for Barcelona.
Barca are yet to register all their new players, as the club is trying to meet the requirements of the La Liga.
According to ESPN, Christensen and Franck Kessie would leave as free agents, if La Liga insists that Barca does not have enough money to register all their players.
A clause was inserted into their contracts that would permit the duo to leave for free if they aren’t registered in time.
Barcelona have officially activated three economic levers, but it doesn’t seem to be enough for the five new players to be registered in La Liga, as well as Roberto and Ousmane Dembele who signed new contracts.
According to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano, both Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie are calm and relaxed about their situation at Barcelona despite the club being unable to register them.
The duo are optimistic that everything will be sorted out in due time and aren’t thinking of joining another club.
