Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has sent a pleasant message to hated rivals, Barcelona.
Real Madrid won the Champions League and La Liga title last season, while Barcelona have been in somewhat of a crisis lately.
Barcelona have been trophyless twice in the last three seasons, but that may now change.
Barcelona have had an impressive summer transfer window, signing the likes of Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, Jules Kounde, Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie.
Barcelona are expected to have a brilliant season this term, and Florentino Perez has sent his wishes to Barcelona.
“There are seasons that we all do better or worse, but Barcelona are one of the most important institutions in the world together with Real Madrid,” Florentino Perez has said.
“They have to go back to being what they are, it will be the best for everyone, for the world of football.”
