According to reports, Barcelona signings Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie may leave the club so soon, despite having just signed up for Barcelona.

Barca are yet to register all their new players, and the club is trying to meet the requirements of the La Liga.

According to ESPN, Christensen and Franck Kessie would leave as free agents, if La Liga insists that Barca does not have enough money to register all their players.

Barcelona have officially activated three economic levers, but they don’t seem to be enough for the five new players to be registered in La Liga, as well as Roberto and Ousmane Dembele who signed new contracts.

Barcelona have until 31st August to register all seven players with the La Liga or could face sanctions.

The unregistered players will also not be permitted to play in this weekend’s opener against Rayo Vallecano.

Reports have it that Barca are set to activate a fourth economic lever, and get players to reduce salaries. This could be enough to see the club register all its new signings.
