Barcelona forwards Memphis Depay and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, have both been linked with an exit from the club.

According to COPE, Barcelona have been told by La Liga that they still can’t register their new players due to the club’s financial challenges.

This may cause Barca to sell some players in order to register the new signings.

Meanwhile, one Barcelona fan is backing the club to sell both Aubameyang and Depay, to free space for Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres, Ousmane Dembele and Robert Lewandowski.

“It is also why I prefer moving on Memphis & Auba so that minutes get spread more evenly among Ansu, OD (Ousmane Dembele), Ferran, Raphinha & Lewy,” Barsalev writes on Twitter.

“The risk of young and talented af players not getting game time worries me more than having to give games to youth players in case of injuries.”

To make signings this summer, Barcelona had to activate three economic levers, which raked in over €700million in revenue.

The trio of Jules Kounde, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski, cost Barcelona nearly €200m.

However, the league’s ruling body has claimed that Barca can only account for €517m of the money they received from activating all their levers, and it won’t be enough to turn around the club’s negative balance and register all the players.
