According to reports, Barcelona forward Martin Braithwaite is waiting on Barcelona to terminate his contract as soon as possible.

Barcelona are set to let go of some players who aren’t needed at the club, and Braithwaite is among the list.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Braithwaite is demanding his entire remaining salary — otherwise he won’t leave Barcelona.

The 31-year-old’s deal expires in 2024, and he wants the two years’ worth of wages. He reportedly earns around €4m per year.

The Danish striker was linked with a move to Celta Vigo, but the Spanish club has backed out of the deal.

He’s now expected to sign for Saudi side Al Shabab.
