Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 1-0 in a pre-season clash in the US.

The two teams are expected to fight for the La Liga title this season, with Real Madrid the current champions.

Barcelona have built a strong squad this summer, and many are beginning to tip Barca to win the league.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has however admitted that Barca have indeed built a good squad but insisted he’s not worried about Barcelona.

Carlo Ancelotti said: “In football, nothing surprises me. Barcelona are building a fantastic team, but I’m worried about my team, so I don’t care much. You always have to respect Barca.”

Barcelona ended the tour of the United States with a 2-0 win over New York Red Bulls, and Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez has admitted he’s satisfied with his team.

“The pre-season tour was positive in general. We still have work to do, but I am satisfied,” Xavi said at the end of the game against New York Red Bulls.
