Barcelona defeated MLS side New York Red Bulls at the Red Bull Arena on Sunday morning.

Goals from Ousmane Dembele and Memphis Depay sealed a 2-0 victory for Barcelona.

Summer signing Robert Lewandowski was unable to get on the scoresheet in yet another pre-season fixture.

Lewandowski had a lot of chances to score, but was unable to do so against NY Red Bulls, as he didn’t have his cool edge in front of goal.

Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez didn’t seem bothered, and said it’s only a matter of time before Lewandowski gets scoring.

Asked about Lewandowski’s frustration following his lack of goals, Xavi said: “Lewandowski’s reason for frustration is normal.

“It already happened to Suárez when he came. He will end up scoring.”
