Barcelona have officially announced an agreement in principle with Sevilla for the transfer of Jules Kounde from Sevilla.

The 23-year-old centre-back is now in Barcelona for his medicals, after which he will sign a five-year contract with the club.

Kounde has already agreed personal terms with Barcelona and is expected to sign a deal until 2027.

According to reports, Barcelona have signed up Kounde from Sevilla for €50m plus €10m in add-ons. He will earn €6m net per year at Barca.

Jules Kounde will be presented as a new Barcelona signing on August 1.

The excited Frenchman has revealed how happy he is to join Barcelona.

“Hello, culers. I am here. Forca Barca,” Jules Kounde said in a short video for Barcelona’s social media.
