Barcelona played out a 2-2 draw against Juventus in a pre-season clash in the United States.
Ousmane Dembele scored a brace in that game, with Juventus star Moise Kean cancelling his goals with a brace as well.
Sergi Roberto was given a first start for Barcelona since last April, and he lasted just 30 minutes before being subbed off in the first-half.
Sergi Roberto was the first to leave the pitch, and his substitution came so early in the game.
The Spaniard started the game at right back, and had to be subbed off after a collision with Cuadrado midway through the first half.
Roberto seemed to be struggling to maintain the pace after the collision, and Xavi decided to sub him off as he did not intend to risk him any further injury.
Barcelona took the lead twice but couldn’t beat Juventus.
Speaking after the game, Barca boss Xavi Hernandez explained that the high temperature and also the quality of grass affected his team’s display.
Temperatures in Dallas were above 30 degrees despite the game being played at night, in what was a very hot atmosphere to play.
“The grass and the high temperatures have hurt us, but I am very happy,” Xavi said after the 2-2 draw against Juventus.
