Barcelona and Juventus played out a 2-2 draw in a pre-season friendly clash in the United States.

Barcelona had taken the lead twice in the first-half through Ousmane Dembele, but a Moise Kean brace prevented Xavi Hernández’s team from getting the victory.

Following the victory against Real Madrid on Sunday, Barcelona fans were expecting another win against the Serie A giants, but it wasn’t to be.

Speaking after the game, Barca boss Xavi Hernandez explained that the high temperature and also the quality of grass affected his team’s display.

Temperatures in Dallas were above 30 degrees despite the game being played at night, in what was a very hot atmosphere to play.

“The grass and the high temperatures have hurt us, but I am very happy,” Xavi said after the 2-2 draw against Juventus.

Barcelona will face New York Red Bulls on Sunday before they return to Spain for the Joan Gamper trophy.
